On the first Thursday of each month\, there will be a free lecture on the natural environment in our backyard including local flora and fauna\, natural history\, or geology. Kicking things off on March 7 at 6:00pm\, the local Carpinteria State Park interpreter Christina Furio will talk about sharks. “Sharks Can Smell Blood From a Mile Away!” and Other Shark Misconceptions Debunked is the title of her presentation. \nAll ages welcome. \n  \n  \n
