REWARDS!
Attend 1 meeting: You’re awesome! Thanks for your input and caring about the library!
Attend 4 meetings: Whoa! You’re taking this pretty seriously, huh? You get a prize!

Gaming Tournaments
What’s up Gamers?!?!
Carpinteria Community Library hosts gaming tournaments where you can come show off your skills. We have run Geometry Dash Tournaments so far, but we plan to run tournaments for other games as well, such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. If you have any suggestions for a game that might be a good fit for a tournament at the library, please let us know!
On the day of any given tournament, sign-ups begin an hour beforehand in-person at the library.
For the most up-to-date information on our tournaments, please check our calendar, and our Instagram: @carpcommunitylibrary.
Zine making
A zine, pronounced “zeen” (just like the end of the word “magazine”), is a homemade publication. There are no set-in-stone rules for making zines. A zine can be about anything you’re interested in. Yes! There are all kinds of zines including: fanzines (a zine about something or someone you love), cooking zines full of recipes and tips, comic zines, art zines, poetry zines, and personal zines where people write about their daily lives.
Have you heard about Zine libraries? Really! They exist, see these

Stay tuned, a zine workshop is coming soon!
