Library Card Application for Homebound Patrons - Carpinteria Community Library

Homebound service will be provided to residents of Carpinteria Community Library service area who are not able to visit the library. “Homebound” is defined as being generally confined to the residence either temporarily, due to illness or accident, or permanently, due to mobility problems.

To obtain a Library Card for the Homebound with borrowing privileges you will need to fill out an online application and upload an image or scan of your photo ID with current address.

The Library Card for the Homebound is valid for three years from the date issued. Cards are mailed to homebound applicants, who may have friends or neighbors borrow materials from the library on their behalf.
