Carp Reads

April 1st – May 30th

Carp Reads is a citywide community event that encourages members of the Carpinteria community to read the same book at the same time and then discuss it in book groups and at events throughout the City. By building bridges between communities and generations through the reading of the same title, we hope it will spark thoughtful conversations around important topics.

Free books are available in English and Spanish from the Library beginning April 1st, while supplies last. Sponsored by the Friends of the Carpinteria Library.

This year’s book selection is Solito by Javier Zamora.

Programs:

Sponsors for Carp Reads include the Friends of the Carpinteria Library and Alcazar Theatre.
