Join us at the Carpinteria Community Library on June 29th at 5 pm for storyteller, educator, and cultural protector Alan Salazar, published author of “Tata, The Tataviam Towhee, a Tribal Story”, “A Tataviam Creation Story”, and “Coyote Rescues Hawk”. Alan Salazar has spent decades preserving ancestral traditions, from rebuilding Chumash canoes to safeguarding sacred sites. As a published author and cultural advocate, he shares stories of resilience, ancestry, and the land. Your presence helps support local culture and keeps traditions alive. All are welcome!
