Carpinteria Book Club
An event every month that begins at 4:00 pm on day Third of the month, repeating indefinitely

COME for tea, a reading, and a chat about The New York Times bestseller James by Percival Everett.
The novel is a reimagining of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain but narrated by Huckleberry’s friend on his travels, the fugitive slave Jim, rather than by Huck, as in the original. The novel won the 2024 Kirkus Prize, the National Book Award for Fiction, and the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
The meeting for this event will be on March 16th at 4:00p @ Carpinteria Community Library.
Make sure to keep an eye out for future book clubs every 3rd Monday of the month.
We hope to see you there!
