An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday, repeating until September 23, 2024
On August 12th, we’ll kick off a six-week Computer Basics class for those who are afraid to work on a computer due to fear of breaking it.
If you answer NO to the following questions, then the class is for you:
- Do you know how to connect a computer to Wi-Fi or the internet?
- Are you comfortable using the internet to fill out online forms, such as to set up an appointment or apply for a job?
- Do you know how to locate the display, volume, printer, and other settings on a computer?
- Do you know how to log into your email using a computer (not your phone)?
- Are you comfortable sending and receiving email?
During the course, training in all of these areas will be provided, and participants will receive a new Chromebook.
